I just downloaded Lightroom Classic CC to my laptop. (I do not have Windows 10). Every time I try and open it, a prompt come up saying "We cannot verify your subscription status.

I checked in the adobe website and I am only logged in to one computer.  My account is current.  I have Un-Synchronized the internet time clock and my internet connection says that it has an "excellent connection".  I have used this computer in the past, but my son uninstalled the previous program, which is why I had to reinstall.  I don't know what else to do.  It opens up, and I am about 100% positive, that without this stupid prompt that keeps coming up, it would work just fine! Help!
