One of our users recently got a new laptop for to replace their old one. I uninstalled the Photoshop CS3 software off the old laptop and installed Photoshop CS3 on the new laptop. However, when trying to license it, it is giving me an error indicating that the maximum number of activations has been reached.
I have the serial number in question once I get a response to indicate the steps I need to take to release the key that should have been removed when I uninstalled it off the old laptop.
Thank you

Hi dtruong@navex
Hopefully, you have been able to resolve the activation issue with CS3. If not, is the copy of CS3 is an individual license? In that case, please follow the steps in this help document to deactivate: Learn to activate or deactivate Adobe applications‌. If you no longer have access to the old laptop to deactivate, please Contact Customer Care via chat and ask them to reset your activations.
For assistance with a volume licensed product, please see: Contact Customer Care: Volume License‌.

Uninstalling does not deactivate Adobe software - deactivating it does.
