I own CS2 but cannot Register it on my new laptop online - says serial number already in use.

Hi, I own a number of Adobe products and I have registered them all in the past. Unfortunately, that was 18+ years ago.  They still meet my needs.  I don't remember the account info that I was using when I registered them.  The first product I installed and attempted to register was Photoshop CS2.  The serial number worked just fine for the install, but registration generates the message that the serial number is already in use... most likely by my old account.  If there is a way I can clear this up it would be great.  I am told by the software that I only have 19 more days to activate the software or it will cease to work.

Unfortunately CS2 servers were shut down years ago and while for a time there was a version released that did not require this step that is now gone. If your primary use is Photoshop your options moving forward are either the Cloud version or Photoshop Elements which may be enough of a replacement for CS2 for your needs.

you'll need to purchase something that can be activated.  the current photoshop elements probably would meet your needs.
