I want to choose when adobe cc updates

Adobe CC now updates itself each time I power my pc up, but I want to choose when my pc is updated and I want to know what the updates are first. It's my pc and I should be able to choose. This is very heavy handed behaviour by Adobe and I want it stopped.

How do I do this, please? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query here.

Please refer to the following help article that shows the steps to disable Auto update from the CC App: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

DJ

Just turn off automatic updates in the CC app. I'd recommend doing that for most people.

Thank you for your reply. I've looked at the CC app but I can't see an option to turn off automatic updates. I've used Photoshop and Lightroom on a pc since their inception and have always been notified before updates were applied, so something has changed. Thanks again.

Thank you: I've done that. Will I now be notified when updates are
available and choose when to install them?

Thanks again.
