Indesign 2019 installaation in Windows 8.1

Hi ,

I tried to install In design 2019 in Windows 8.1 but it gave error as OS update required.

Review the system requirements below and update your Operating system to install most recent version of of INdesign CC please help to resolve this issue

But In design 2019 is working fine in Windows 7

your os is incompatible with id 14.0, the 10/18 release.

win 7, sp1 and most win 10 versions are supported.

it's for Photoshop but should be the same for id: Re: Can not Windows 8.1 use Photoshop cc 2019?

Adobe just blocks the installation of id 2019 on Windows 8.1, if you install it on Windows 7 then Upgrade to 8.0 and then Upgrade to 8.1 it will run.
