InDesign won't install / keeps freezing

Dear members,

A half year ago I bought Adobe Creative Cloud and installed InDesign.

I had trouble with the download because it kept freezing but after I tried a direct download link it worked out fine for me.

Today I found out I needed the newer version (Indesign 14.0 CC).

I tried to update with de Creative Cloud app on my computer but it kept freezing (44%, 53%, 61%).

I tried literally everything!

Uninstalling everything, using the CC cleantool, direct download etc.

Result: my computer keeps freezing, has black-outs, has become slower and I don't have any version of InDesign at all!

Is there anyone who can help me?

I have a Windowns 10 HOME, 32-bit laptop.

Not 100% sure, but I think the newest version of InDesign is a 64 bit only app. I don't think it supports 32 bit any more.
