I can't even start creative cloud because it keeps rejecting my password. I've reset it twice, double checking for accuracy each time. grrr
Can you log-in to your Adobe account from your browser?
https://account.adobe.com/plans
If you can, then run the Adobe Cleaner Tool to wipe old files off your system. And then re-install CC desktop app. See links below.
