You need empty space on your C drive to download and extract installation files.  You also need ample hard disk for Photoshop's scratch disk.  If you don't have sufficient space on your primary hard drive, consider getting a new one or get a bigger computer.

  • Delete non-essential files and apps from your computer.
  • Move work files to external drives.
  • Run Clean Disk utilities.
  • Defragment non-SSD drives.

Make sure your computer meets the minimum CPU & GPU requirements to run Photoshop and Lightroom.

1. Open Creative Cloud Desktop App.

2. Click your Avatar and select Preferences.

3. Click on APPS tab and scroll down to Installing.

4. Change the Default Location as desired.
