Trying to re-load CS Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection on my new Mac Airbook 2015 and have tried different browsers with the same result...“Install” is on the disk image “Illustrator_15_1_LS1.dmg”.  Have also tried downloading individula programs like Illustrator & Dreamweaver with the same result.

A button appears: eject disk image or cancel.

help would be appreciated... Sincerely

Jeffrey

Hi All,

you can try doing this, at least it works for us.

Under your System Preferences >> Security & Privacy >> General tab, double check that you have changed to the option of "Allow from anywhere" at least for this installation before you switch it back to your default. If you don't find this, then you will need to click on the Install app to trigger it to allow it on a per app basis.

Next,

1) Open your Terminal.app

2) Type in

xattr -cr /Users/path-to-your-file/CSx.x.dmg  or    xattr -cr /Users/path-to-your-file/CSx.x.iso

depending on your filename/filetype.

3) Double click on the "Install" file when you mount the DMG or ISO file to your Finder. This should start the installation.
