Install location

When I try to change the install location for my apps in the Creative Cloud it gives me the message "

Unable to install at this location" when the location I want to change it to is my external hard drive. how can I fix this? What am I doing wrong?

you can't install on the root of any drive. so, create a folder in your harddrive (eg, Adobe) and try installing there.

if it still won't install, you can't use your external drive for installation.
