Installing Adobe CS6 Master Collection problems

When opening the install the following error came up: Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem. Where do I get this download from?

if you have a mac with sierra or high sierra, it is not compatible with older software, but adobe's posted a work-around:  https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/install-creative-suite-mac-os-sierra.html
