Installing on D drive

Hey, I set up my directory to download on my D drive but it still says I do not have enough space ( Download Error ). Is there any way to fix this? To be specific, I am trying to download After Effects CC.

Thanks for any help.

Yeah the Default location for the program install routine, the part you have to download from the internet to actually install the program, is placed on the C system drive. I don't know of anyway to change that.

Also you are completely out of space on the C drive. You should always maintain at least 10-15 % (and some say as much as 25% on a SSD) of free space on all drives.

The Documents folder is store on the C drive and that can be moved to your D drive. Along with that all the Windows Default

uhh, I do have iTunes on my computer, the only time i remember connecting my phone to my computer was to get a phone to my computer and to just get some music into my computer. I do take a bit of pictures on my phone. I deleted only 2016 files so I believe those would be my old backup files on my old phones so I should be safe.

Doing that and like I said before, deleting temp files on the storage application when searching it up on Cortana gave me 15gbs of free space. So I now have 40gbs.
