Installing PSE on a new laptop

I purchased PSE 2024 and want to install it on a new laptop. If I install it and want to return the laptop (still trying it out), how would PSE work? Can I deactivate it, un-install it, return the laptop and re-install it on another laptop with the same serial number?

yes, deactivate (help> deactivate or sign out) and then uninstall it.
