in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

your first png does not show Adobe Installer.exe is installed, and that exe is the problem cited in your posted error message.
can you uninstall you beta versions?

Thank you for the problem-solving suggestion! I'll be happy to do that, but first I want to understand why: I've been using and paying for the full Creative Cloud for years. I am regularly informed about updates and provided with the installations. There have been various beta versions for months (years?), about which I am regularly informed, and the updates were installed automatically or on demand without any problems until 2 (?) weeks ago.
WHAT exactly happened NOW that I can no longer install beta versions? Why should I UNINSTALL the beta versions, were they completely reprogrammed about 2 weeks ago, or what happened???
NOTHING has changed on my computer (Windows 11, 32 GB RAM) in the last few months except for Windows updates. And as an addition: Of course, the updates to the original programs continue to run fully or semi-automatically as desired / "Illustrator v 29.2" for example 7 days ago.

i don't know what changed on your computer or why it changed, but (assuming you have an individual subscription) common culprits are anti-virus apps.

Then thank you for informing us that Adobe is distributing virus-infected beta versions to users with individual subscriptions! I will then delete all beta versions and will not allow the criminal gang around CEO Shantanu Narayen (if your information is correct) to have any further access to my computer.

No, I would like to work with functional betas and current developments as before, but that doesn't seem possible without risk, right?

all reports of av problems are false positives. ie, an av problem, not an adobe problem.

Okay, we'll end this nonsense now. Again: I have not received an AV problem or a message of this type! Rather, I have no way of updating my beta versions because my virus scanner is supposedly going crazy without reporting it / very funny.
In the course of our discussion, I now remember that several years ago I had an update problem with Acrobat (then WITHOUT a "beta") and an earlier computer that also suddenly could no longer find the update path. At that time there was a targeted Adobe support that found the error (German/English problem obviously), explained the cause to me and apologized (to me and other people affected). We were provided with a repaired update file that worked in Germany, which was then exchanged online.
I don't remember the details because I've been working with Adobe programs regularly and without any problems over the last few years. Maybe a look into the past when support still worked will help...

AGAIN, i can't see your computer and therefore cannot determine what caused the problem. and i don't even know your subscription type.
