I have LrC 14.5.1. I've been trying to update Lightroom Classic to 15 and Photoshop to version 27 and they won't update. It says "Update Failed". Lightroom updated though. And so did Bridge. But Photoshop and Lightroom Classic did not. I've tried updating from the program itself and from the Creative Cloud program from my desktop. Both programs work fine. My internet connection hasn't changed, Like I said, LIghtroom updated just fine. I'm logged in to both programs. I apologize if this question has already been answered, but I can't find the answer.
Is the ENTIRE error message "Update Failed" or is there more in the error message? If there is more, please provide the entire error message.
What is your version NUMBER of Windows or MacOS? We need the version NUMBER and not words like "latest" or "up-to-date". For Windows its something like Windows 10 or Windows 11 and also we need the version which is not a number but something like 25H2.
No, sorry, Darrell, but the system requirements for Lightroom at https://adobe.ly/4qxTWzn and the system requirements for Photoshop at https://adobe.ly/3JGvMC1 both indicate Windows 10 is still supported.
Please make sure you have applied any available updates, and you may want to consider enrolling in Microsoft's extended support program if you are planning to use Windows 10 in 2025 and beyond. ^JW

Thank you so much for replying. I think I finally found an answer on the 'net. I have Windows 10. Apparently I need Windows 11. If this is correct, please let me know and I'll stop stressing out over it. 🙂 Darrell

Had I read the error log as you suggested, I would have gotten the answer. I just thought the error log would be one of those typical Windows logs with a bunch of numbers and symbols. Thank you for your time, I'm sorry I didn't pay attention to your message more.

Darrel, sorry you are unable to update Photoshop and Lightroom. To add to DJ Paige's response, see https://adobe.ly/4oFvbPQ for information on how to locate the fatal errors that are preventing the installation of the updates.
Kglad, Dj Paige, myself, and the entire Adobe community look forward to your update with the fatal error message, Darrel. Thanks! ^JW

Thank you. Yeah, you're right. Windows 10 is still supported. I'm buying a new machine this month, so I won't be using Windows 10. I'm up to date on the updates. I'm currently running 14.5.1 of LrC. I'm at a loss. It updated to the last version just fine, automatically. I don't want to reinstall the whole thing because I never have good luck doing that with apps. Nothing has changed. My computer hasn't crashed, my internet connection is the same as always. And like I said, Lightroom updated to v9.0 just fine. But I don't use Lightroom. I really need Classic.

Yes, but I found the answer to my problem a few minutes ago. I took the time to read the error log and I'm lacking HD space.

Well, it helps to view the reason CC gives for the error message. It says I don't have enough disk space. I'm sorry I wasted your time. I have a huge HD and didn't even think it was almost full. Thank you and eveyrone else for your time.

is it close to full?

Yeah, I only have five gigs left, which was surprising considering I have a .9T drive. And I keep my catalogue on a different drive. I'm getting a new machine later this month so I'll wait until then and reinstall it.

Thank you, and I'll stop replying to each answer. Just know I really appreciate everyone's help. I feel kinda' dumb. But again, Lr updated and I have such a large HD I didn't even think about it. Thanks again.
