lost my product key for PSE 11

I have adobe PSE 11 and it has worked GREAT for me. I had to reinstall windows and now have to reinstall 11. It is asking for a product key.  Problem is, the software is not showing up in my account? My husband and I share the same email address, and when we activated the adobe ID it address an email to him, but now the account is in my name so I have no idea what data we lost over the years. HELP! We got the software when we got a lap top years ago. It worked fine for me? is there anything that can be done??

you have 3 ways to recover a serial number that you once had:

1. if you purchased from or registered with adobe (automatically done with cs6):,

    a. you can check your account, https://accounts.adobe.com

    b. you can check with adobe support* (be prepared to give the email address used when registering and/or          purchasing)

2. if your adobe program is installed on another computer you can recover its serial number from that computer,

I did chat at 2 AM this AM and got someone right away! They told me that PSE 11 is no longer supported by chat, or phone, and I must come here. But I will for sure try that link, because it is on another desktop I have.

secure the serial number after recovering it.

If you do find a serial number on that computer it will be 6 groups of 4 numbers
Such as 1234-5678-1234-5678-1234-5678

This time, write your serial number on a piece of paper and put it in a desk drawer
