Originally I had purchased a LR5 version. Then updated to 6.14 and used it for years. Now upgraded my computer to Win 10. Got the Lightroom 6 LS11.exe and try to install.
Get the message my serial number was blocked.

where'd you purchase your lr 6 from?

Thank you so much.
I have bought a LR5 license first, from a user who had deactivated / returned it to Adobe. Have it registered there with its license key, of course.
Updated it many years ago to 6.14.
I was able to re-install it several times under Win 7 without any problem and have edited more than 5000 images by now. Don´t want to lose that.

while installing lr6, make sure you're accurately entering your lr6 serial number first and when prompted, enter your qualifying product (lr5) serial number. it's essential that you enter the correct number at the correct time.
if you're certain you're doing that accurately and still see that revoked message, contact adobe support to get clarification.
there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter:
chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
twitter:

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...

Thank you, and yes, I did so.
But after entering the lr6 number, I get the message "gesperrt - blocked". Seems to be no way to continue. - (I am not on twitter).
So went to helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen. Used the Virtueller Assistent > says no product at my account > tried Produkt registrieren > shows lr5.0 was registered on 2015-03-15 with its correct serial number. Fine! Please see the snapshot I´ve attached below.
Should I continue by entering the lr6 number? Want to make no mistake, please understand this.

first, these are public forums. posting your serial number (which i've now removed) is a sure way to get a serial number blocked. i don't know if that occurred previously and caused the current problem, or not.
also, i previously asked where you purchased cs6 from. if it was not adobe, that's suspect.
there are other causes of revoked or invalid serial numbers, but bottom line is you can't get details without contacting adobe support. https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/invalid-revoked-serial-numbers.html

Thank you for removing my LR serial number. I´ve never posted it, neither here nor elsewhere. So that´s definitely not the reason for the blocking of my serial number.
I am sorry to say that the link https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/invalid-revoked-serial-numbers.html ends up by an offer to purchase an abo version, in German named "Foto-Abo" for Lr plus Ps.
I had purchased the Lr lifetime license, and I am very much used to its settings.
