Making a family digital photo album with our old family pictures

I want to scan 6 photos at a time, I have hundreds of old photos and be able to touch them up 1 at a time & make a family tree photo album. which program will work with my iMac PRO computer with 8 core processor.

I have a computer with Windows 10 PRO If my iMAC PRO wont work. I dont know what soft wear to buy & use.

How much photo editing have you done and with which software?

IMPORTANT! Check the System Requirements very carefully. Whatever you decide to buy will need to be compatible with your processor and display.

Photoshop Elements 2021 (approx $100, no subscription needed).  A lighter consumer level version of Photoshop that's fairly easy to learn.

Thank you I've talked to every computer store in town and Ill have to figure ot what works with my computer.
