MC CS6 Serial banned after several re installations on same 2 PCs

I purchased a serial number for MC CS6 US English International Version from ebay.

It was a genuine serial number and the seller had uninstalled the software and freed the serial number from adobe data base and server.

I downloaded the binaries from adobe server.

I installed it on 2 windows 10 French PC.

1 was having the name "Frederic-PC" and 1 the name "Frederic-PC1".

But I noticed some problems : some binaries like those of Acrobat X were not functionning well or not at all.

After many tests, I understood that the binaries of this adobe version were not fully compliant with my windows version, because the binaries were in US English but my windows was in French.

I tried then to replace some of the binaries that were in English by other binaries of MC CS6 that were in French and that I downloaded from adobe server.

But I kept most of the English binaries that had been activated with success on both PC.

So there was a mix of English binaries that were activated and some French binaries that were not.

But the French binaries were not accepting the serial number of the International version.

So I found a work around by tweaking the system of Windows, and then the French binaries were functionning and were coexisting with the English binaries that kept activated.

The problem is that for doing all these tests and researches, I had to uninstall and re install many times the International version on both PC and at each time I had activated the binaries many times.

And in the same time I decided to change the names of my PC : "Frederic-PC1" became "Frederic-PC2" and "Frederic-PC" became "Frederic-PC1".

And because of all of that, at the last install and activation, it did not work well, and there was an arror message telling me that my serial number had been used too many times and that now it got banned by adobe.

All of this was happening around the 15 april 2022.

And 1 more detail : I forgot to register my serial number with my adobe account during all this, and now if I want to include the serial to my account it refuses to do it because it is banned.

Now I have to do a clean install of my 2 PC with windows 11 and I need that adobe understands my problem and that it is not a robery of a serial number and that it is not a case wher a same serial was used on dozens of PC because it was only installed on the same 2 PC, and accepts to allow me to use this serial number at least 4 more times (2 times for my 2 PC, and 2 more in case of any future problem).

So I need that adobe unban my serial number from its servers and do an activation count check and reset of my serial number.

serial numbers are not banned because of legal installations, no matter how many there are.  activations are limited to two at any one time, but if you attempt a third, the error message presented indicates an excess activation count, not a banned serial number.

in any case, contact adobe support so find the problem. if it's an excess activation count issue, and you are unable to deactivate (open any cs6 app > click help > deactivate) on a computer with an activated cs6, request an "activation count reset".  if your serial number was banned, ask why.

the usual cause for banning is because the serial number was purchased from a non-adobe website that violated their terms of sale, or because your serial number was found in public (eg, on a pirate website).

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...

The previous onwer did not register its serial number with its adobe account so no need of this form.

When i tried to register this serial number with my adobe account there was an error message saying that this number could not be registered because it was banned.
Not because it was already registered.

But anyway i dont have the contact details of the previous owner so what is the use of this form if i cannot contact him anymore ?
Is there a procedure for this case at adobe' ?

when you do contact support, ask if there was an error revoking your serial number, and if not, why was it revoked.  let us know the result.

Those 2 statements contradict each other

To be able to "free the number" that means that it WAS linked to an account by Adobe... and that means that without a completed transfer the number still belongs to the original person

I have myself explained incorrectly : when i said he freed the number i did not mean unregistered the number i meant he freed the number from the software itself not from the adobe account thats a total different procedure.

You have my sympathies.  But that's the risk you took buying untrusted software from some stranger on eBay.  😞

If it was legitimate software, the seller and the buyer would have sent a transfer of license request form to Adobe, Inc. At which point Adobe would have verified authenticity of the license before transferring the license to you. 

Evidently you did not do that. Your software is illegal and you are the proud owner of digital fairy dust.  Chalk this up to experience and move on...  Neither Adobe nor product users from this community can help you with illegal software. 

HINT:  NEVER buy software on auction sites.  😉 

The risks are too great. 

Maybe you can recover your losses from the eBay seller.
