You can simply install the software on the new computer using the disks and serial number if the new machine accepts disks.  If the old machine is the only one with the software installed, you do not need to remove it from that machine to install it on the new one - your license allows for activated installations on two machines.

Thanks Ned,

Unfortunately I have elements 8 installed on my Tower

Gateway, and I installed

it on my new Dell laptop and then received a 30 day notice. my old

Toshiba laptop that has/had

elements 8 on it is now dead

Also, adobe has a form for me to fill out and then they want me to FAX it

to them,

the form does not ask for SN numbers or anything

I am not clear on what's what with what you just described and never heard of having to fill out a form to install Adobe software that you own.  If you contact Adobe Support they should be able to deqctivate the old installation and that would free it up to be able to install on another machine.

Not that I need the details, but I am curious what the purpose of the form is?
