Hello again,
This is killing me.
Since the possibilities for continue on the old thread is gone here we go again.
I see duplicates in the list of installed programs in File Wiever. Sometimes when I try to open a INDD or AI file from the file wiever CC 2018 tries to kick in but it just stops at: "validates software license" and it does not get through. It is stuck in a loop. I need to open CC and start the program from the list. I find this irritating.
Is it because I have two accounts? "Yes, it is". No its NOT. I have recently deleted the account I never used. Adobe helped me with that. Thanks. But now I see in the file wiever I have Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator fully installed on the computer. But they dont work. I can't se them in the list of installed programs in "settings and stuff" that could be uninstalled. AND I unistalled them in the Creative Cloud app too. Everthing. But the files are still there in the file wiever. So I installed Illustrator again, I need to work. But every now and again this stupid loop of "validating-sh.." is going on. How is this supposed to work? A year ago tech support from India was running my computer for 2 hours without solving the problem. They used some CC account super duper program to manage the mess. But no no... As you can tell, this really disturbs me.
Help please. Thanks!
Thanx for all input!

first try, resetting the cc app: To reset the Creative Cloud desktop app, make sure it's in the foreground, then press:
Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R
if that fails, do a clean cc install:
uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html...
Use the Adobe Cleaner Tools to wipe old programs off your system followed by a clean re-install.

restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)
use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

Hi kglad, I have tried everything. All those steps...
"The Creative Cloud computer program is required for the Creative Cloud applications to work properly. Do you want to continue with the uninstallation?" Uninstall / Cancel
I've tried both. Can't tell which is best. The Cleaner Tool generate a Log File on a location that does not exist. C:/Users/Pauline/AppData/Local/Temp/Adobe Creative Cleaner Tool.log
This is the correct location:
C:/Användare/Pauline/... ("Användare" is "User" in english)
But the the log ended up here:
C:\Windows\Temp\CreativeCloud\ACC\ACC.log
Now its history since 2015 is gone due to I did a full clean as an admin with the clean tool. The only log from today is here again. The clean tool process ended with some "ERROR". It didn't say what kind of error. *bummer*
One good thing is that Adobe icons PS, Ill and InD was showing "00 days remaing of the trial period" if I click on one of those in the Windows menu. Is that just because I'm on as an admin? But just a short period of time; now the loop is back. *sigh* I tried trial period looong ago. Now I have payed "full monty" a couple of years.
I Installed CC App again: "Felkod P81" ("Felkod" is "wrong code") It seem to work but there are some stuff going on over here. Im installing InD App again, need to work a while...

Hi Nancy_OShea! Can you read the log file the Cleaner Tool generates? It doesn't say me anything really. And it´s too long to post here. Email it to you maybe?
