My After Effects 2023.3 has disappeared from my MacBook.

My After Effects 2023 23.3 that I have been using for ages is now gone, and it is only a gray question mark on my dock.  I have tried finding it in Creative Cloud but when I go to "older versions" it only goes back to AE 24.0. My plugins are not compatible with anything but AE 23, somebody please help me find a download for AE 23!

that's no longer possible. 

1. you can install the latest and 1 version prior versions using the cc desktop app. you must have a subscription because previous versions are not available with trials. other versions are revealed after clicking file preferences>apps>tick show older apps (at panel bottom).


2. no other versions are available

You probably didn't choose the option to not delete old versions when updating in the Creative Cloud app.

I don't know if it will work, but you can try to restore from a Time Machine backup.
