My Retail Copy Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 won't install

I bought this software before Christmas at Walmart and I have not been able to install it on my HP Windows PC.  I have Windows 10 Home version 10.0.17134.  I have tried everything in the support area of this site but it still will not load.  I even downloaded the online version even though i do have a DVD.  The DVD and the download version does the same thing.  It goes about 2% install and shows unknown error.  Nothing is in the log file.  There is no error. I did notice that the Auto Play and installer is 32 bit.  I believe I need a 64 bit installer to load it on a windows 10 PC.  I even reloaded everything on the PC thinking something was damaged. Everything I have seen says that the 2019 edition is supposed to only have the 64 bit installer but the DVD does not.  All I know is that I am out 90 dollars and still don't have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019.

Suzanneo94985030, sorry to hear that the installation for Photoshop Elements 2019 is failing on the Windows 10 Home computer.  As a first step please apply any updates that are available for the Windows 10 Home computer.  You can find details regarding the current release at Windows 10 - release information | Microsoft Docs . 

If you continue to encounter errors then please check the install logs for any errors that may prevent the installation.  For information on how to locate the installation logs see Troubleshoot install using logs in Photoshop Elements .
