Not able to use Photoshop CS6

i purchased photoshop 6 6 years ago or more ...and spoke with adobe for the upgrade and the hard copy...now in 2018 they are preventing me from using it?/? I bought it  bad news adobe so bad..

Sun Photons Visions, sorry to hear you are facing difficulties installing Photoshop CS6.  What is the specific error that you are receiving?  Are you utilizing your registered serial number when installing Photoshop CS6?  For information on how to locate your serial number see Find your serial number .

The same one everyone else is getting..

I bought the har copy software from adobe on the telephone and they shipped it to me in around 2012 or so. I don’t have the box any more..,,’

It worked until a few weeks ago

Not good..Not good at all.

mojave OS Mac…I purchased this from adobe on he phone and adobe sent me the cd which I do Not have any more

it work for years until now? I paid for it and I paid adobe directly it was an upgrade from previous version..

Elan, if you are installing Creative Suite 6 on macOS 10.14 then you will need to use the workaround listed in Installing Creative Suite on macOS 10.12 (Sierra) .

If you face any additional difficulties then can you please type the text of the error that you are receiving?  Please be aware that you are posting in a public discussion forum accessible to anyone with Internet access.  Please do not personal information such as serial numbers or e-mail addresses.

Owners of old programs simply have problems with new Mac operating systems... none of which is Adobe's fault... Adobe did not change your old program to make it stop working... Apple changed their operating system and THAT is why your old programs won't work, not because of anything Adobe did... Also... every time Apple issues an update, there is the risk that an old program that HAS been working will STOP working... bottom line, old programs require a matching old operating system

I have seen it mentioned that an OLD version of Java must be installed to MAYBE get an old program (CS6 and earlier) working with your new operating system https://support.apple.com/kb/dl1572?locale=en_US

i bought it from adobe..over the one Adobe sent me the cd I don’t have the cd any more..

it is in adobe’s records.

I am sorry, Elan, but it is still unclear what difficulties you are facing when installing Creative Suite 6.  The retail installation files are available for download at Download Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications .

You can also use the process listed in Find downloaded apps and files  to download your purchase, if you purchased Creative Suite 6 from our website directly.

You can download Creative Suite 6 at the link below.   And you will need your serial number.

Download Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications

If you don't know your product version and serial number, you can look it up online by logging into your account.

over the phone not “one” this is a purchased from adobe version and they sent me the hard copy cd…

now after years they send me this not good.. easy to understand the situation..
