Trying to download Ps and Lr to my new PC. It stops with the above Visual C++ error. I have no idea what to do.

Please mention the complete error.
If the installation Requires Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x64), You can download it from here : Download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4 from Official Microsoft Download...
