This might be a thread already but I couldn't find one.
I am a student and have been getting Adobe for a while now with the student discount (although, the past year it's charged me 30$ instead of 20$ for some reason but that's another issue).
I looked on my bank account and saw I was charged the full 52$ rather than the student discount. Why? Please help. I'm having trouble contacting them.

Thank you for your answer. I went and looked at when I had first bought it 3 years ago and everything matches up.
However, so did the price of the whole package for everyone go from 30$ to 53$ this month? How come it changed? I don't remember getting an email about it.

The normal price in the US has been $50 since the start. Maybe that changed recently.

Hi Falling Pixie
On 5th October an email was sent to you with the subject "Your Creative Cloud Student Subscription will expire soon". Perhaps it went to your junk/spam folder?
This email explains that you'll switch to the base pricing, unless you are still a student, and in that case, you are asked to verify your education status.
Please contact our support team if you need further assistance: Contact Customer Care
Thanks
Bev

Oh, so I'm still getting a student discount, just not the 20$. Is it the first year, I'm assuming and then it's a different student discount?
I must have missed it through all the other emails I get, I'm honestly not good at looking through them. Thank you for your response!
I am still a student, How do I confirm that? I'll go try to find the email, I'm assuming it might have a link to verify my student status.

Beverley has told you how to proceed if you have further questions: Contact Customer Care.
And you should have got an e-mail with the details before your subscription got renewed.
There is a first year special price (on top of the student reduction). You find the details of that either in your mails or on the Adobe web site.

As I had said before, the email probably got lost in the 100s I receive each day.
I have found that the Customer Care doesn't work, I got a response way quicker here and not at all on the site. (I even left it open for a long while one time as I did other things).

Please check this article for information on how to validate your student status:
Renewal of educational student discount
I've also resent a copy of the renewal email.
As you have already been upgraded to the non-student pricing you will need to contact customer support to switch back to the regular student price, after validation.
Thanks
Bev
