Payment options for customer from India

Hi,

I am from India and I am looking to purchase the photography plan (20 GB) using the Annual Plan Prepaid option.

The only payment option that I can see on the Order page is to use a Credit Card. I don't have a Credit Card. I do have a Global Visa Debit Card from State Bank of India. Is it possible to use this global debit card to make the payment? If not, can I purchase the plan offline from any of your authorized resellers in India ?

I had a chat with a couple of customer service executives regarding this and they don't seem to be too sure of what they are saying.

One of the agents told me that there are no authorized resellers in India. However, I can see from this link (https://www.adobe.com/in/information/resellers.html)

that there are indeed Adobe Resellers available in India.

Another agent told me that I can use the debit card to make the payment for the first year but in order to renew the same plan from the second year onwards, I would have to use a credit card. Then after a while he corrected himself by saying that I can use debit card for both initial purchase and renewal.

I would really appreciate it if some experienced staff from the adobe team can clear up this confusion for me once and for all.

Hi Deepug,

I am not Adobe staff, but since no one has yet addressed your question I will tell you that I'm fairly sure only credit card payments are supported through the Adobe website in India. You could look into getting a prepaid credit card for the purchase. Otherwise, check with one of the authorized resellers on the list you link.

Hi DelphiZoa, thanks for your response.

You are right. I spoke with the sales team. Credit card seems to be the only option available. I did get in touch with the resellers and I was told that they sell only business plans.
