PC has 3 activations; can’t activate laptop [branched]

I'm having this issue.  I have a PC and then I got a laptop last month--had it installed and both worked seamless.  Now i upgraded my PC to a new one this weekend, deactivated my old PC and activated the new one, now my laptop adobe ceases to function, because my new PC is taking up 3 slots of my activations?  2 instances of windows_64 and one regular windows.  What gives?  I can't run it on my laptop now

I would suggest to deactivate all activations via adobe.com.

Manage your plans, click the plan and deactivate all computers. You may activate again by signing-in to the computer you need.

I haven't tried that yet, I'll try at the end of my work day.  I deactivated everything that wasn't in use already so thats why it's strange.

Have the same issue. Have tried to deactivate in account.adobe.com. First it looked well, but once I left the page and enter there again, the WINDOWS_64 entries were back 😞
