Hi, since it is not user friendly to explain my problem on a forum...

regarding subscibtion and downloading...

Is there a 1-800 .... phone line that I could call and speak to someone and have my problems fix once and for all.

E_chalifoux phone support is available for Creative Cloud Members for most regions.  You can contact our support team at Contact Customer Care.  Once you choose the options which are relevant to your inquiry you will then be given the applicable contact options.  If you are not able to contact our support team then please utilize a different web browser.

no it isn't. Impossible to contact Adobe using their customer support portal. Just keep getting sent round in circles, returning to the same web pages. Totally useless I'm afraid.
