Photos Cant Be Edited After Exporting to External Hard Drive

So just like the name of the forum questions suggests, I can't edit photos after I transport them to my hard drive. Is there any type of cloud I can save the photos to so that I can still edit them, even if I dont have my hard drive with me? I'm still new to the whole adobe programs thing

It depends on what subscription you got when you signed up for the Creative Cloud with Adobe. I personally have a 100GB storage on their cloud, so I can edit anywhere I have internet access on that 100GB. So depending on how you signed up and what package you go will determine how much cloud storage you have with Adobe. I think the basic Photographers package (photoshop & lightroom) comes with 15GB of cloud storage. I think that's it, not 100% sure, but that sounds right.

May be you should start to describe with what program you exported your photo. What subscription service do you have? What OS environments (OS and version) do you have?

As a general rule, all photos can be edited with programs having "Photoshop" in their name:

  • Photoshop
  • Photoshop Lightroom
  • Photoshop Elements
  • Photoshop Mix -- Photoshop Fix -- Photoshop ... : for mobile devices
