I work for a large corporation in the Packaging dept. I am working on IMac 2017 with an I5 processor, SATA drive and 32 GB of memory. Some of the files I work on are quite large 100 MB to 2 or 3 GB. Phtoshop and Illustrator crash quite freaquently, the last time Phtoshop crashed it destroyed the file I was working on. I lost close to 4 hours of work. Illustrator crashes quite frequently, and after it won't launch causing me to restart my computer. Other people in my dept are running earleir versins of both programs thinking that is the solution. But they have issues as well. I was told by management to save files to my desltop and work off of that instead of the server which is PC based. But even doing that both programs still crash. My personel computer is a 2010 IMac with the same amount of ram and both programs work fine. I don't have admin rights to my work computer so I can't run any disk repair software on it. I have been dealing with this for a while now and I am very frustrated. Any ideas? Thanks!
