Photoshop Elements 11 not working with new mac catalina OS

New Here ,

Hi There I have just update my macbook to the latest OS ( Catalina).  My Photoshop Elements 11 will now not work. It says that I have to contact the developers as its now not combatible - Apple say that they informed all developers back in 2018 about their intended chnages....  It is stated now that all Apps need to be 64-bit.Any ideas what to do? Do I now have a worthless App on my macbook?

Thanks

Hi

You can either revert the operating system to the previous version that it was working on or purchase the most recent version Photoshop Elements 2020

Yes, useless now. On each Mac upgrade you need to budget for all new apps, and it’s a bonus for any that keep working. It’s part of the joy of Mac: Apple don’t like people to run old unfashionable apps on their cool new systems. Plus, a lot of Apple’s Money is made from software sales. You’ve had a good long run with that one.
