Photoshop Elements 9 Installer won't start

I downloaded Photoshop Elements 9 for Mac - OS Mojave -  (my dvd didn't work) and the installer can't be opened.

Any recommendations?

PSE 9 is not compatible with Mac OS X Mojave.

However, You may try with the steps mentioned in below link i,e try to install via Terminal

Installing Creative Suite on macOS 10.12 (Sierra)

Thank you very much!

Installation worked. The program quit at various stages at first, once I tried to open it, but now it seems to open without further complaints. (I couldn’t register it, though)
