Photoshop Will not update

New Here ,
Aug 26, 2021 Aug 26, 2021

Hi,

Got the prompt for updating Lr LrC and Ps, Lr and LrC updated fine but Ps gets to around 89-90 percent and then fails and now i can't even open the previous version. I'm on my 8th attempt now and it fails every time.

Any idea on how to resolve??

Regards,

Stephen

I had a similar issue.

Make sure that you have all Windows updates that are available.

The one thing that was causing it for me, believe it or not, was that I needed to do a clean installation of the latest Studio graphics driver from the NVIDIA website. After doing that and restarting, all was OK.

Use Adobe CC Cleaner Tool to wipe old PS off your system.  And retry with a clean install.

But before you upgrade, check the new system requirements to be sure your machine can support it.
