downloaded plugin from adobe exchange and it says acquired but when i install it i cant find where its gone...any help folks would be good...thanks

The plugin description on the Exchange listing does have a tab called "Where To Find It", did you check that? If it is not present where the documentation states then you should contact the developer of the plugin for troubleshooting
