Hello, ran into a frustrating issue trying to help a student install inDesign from a CC account on her computer. We tried installing the downloader for inDesign (and the Creative Cloud desktop app) to both the Downloads folder and the desktop, each time we'd run the installer a dialogue box asking to grant access to the Downloads/Desktop folder would pop up and would not go away regardless of whether we clicked "Allow" or "Deny Access". It just hangs out on the screen.
We tried manually granting access through settings, but because the program hasn't actually been installed we can't adjust the settings for it yet. It's like it's frozen and we can't get past that point of the install. Firewall is off, we are operating on a Macbook, and even force quitting the installer through the Activity Monitor doesn't impact the "Allow Access" dialogue box.
I've installed this software tens of times on all kinds of computers and this is the first time I'm seeing this. Any ideas on what we can do to get around that dialogue box? Thanks in advance!
