Premiere Elements Version 12 - Windows 11

I downloaded this product with the serial number, which I purchased years ago, on my new computer with Windows 11. I get stuck in a sign-in loop every time I try to launch it. Support says it won't work with Windows 11. Has anyone else been able to use it with Windows 11. If I'm unable to use it, am I wrong in thinking Adobe should give me an upgrade since I already purchased their product and can no longer use it?

Betsy, sorry you aren't able to complete the activation process on your new computer. Please see https://adobe.ly/48lbhob which discusses the new sign in process for Photoshop and Premiere Elements in 2025.

I would also recommend you review and bookmark https://adobe.ly/3KsVDxS for additional information about managing any remaining activations for Photoshop and Premiere Elements 12 in 2025. ^JW

install using compatibility mode (using a compatible os version), https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/system-requirements.html

if that fails:

update each visual c++ verion that can be updated

repair each that can be repaired.

Legacy PS Elements 12 is NOT compatible with modern computer chips and operating systems. Technology has passed it by. Sorry.

Yeah, that's wrong. Obsolete Elements 12 support ended in 2015.

After 3 years of support ended, you were expected to replace it with a supported version. Or keep using it at your own risk. You chose the latter, and here we are.
