I have tried to update LR CC to v2 LR Classic to v8 and PS to v20 BUT each time I do (only on my laptop) the new versions crash on opening. It appears to be trying to open the Adobe Sign In page but I just get a spinning circle. When I close that sign in window - the whole programme shuts down.he moment I am using LR CC v1.5 LR Classic v7.5 and PS v19.1.6

Well, it worked for me (Lr Classic and Ps at least), but that does not mean that it works for you unfortunately.
What is your configuration (OS and version, graphics card and drive version...)?

Yep its a bit confusing really. It works perfectly well on my desktop - and all apps are up to date with the same system I am using on my laptop.
I'm using Windows 10 v 1803 Build 17134.471
Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000
driver version 9.17.10.4459
I spent nearly 2 hours on remote access with adobe last week and then suggested I wait for next update. I did but still no luck.

Is that the configuration of your laptop? What is the graphic for the laptop? I've read that there was a problem with a graphics driver from Intel.
As you mention your Desktop, what is the configuration of that one?
What is the Windows version (on both machines)?
