I am not sure if this is the right place to ask my question.
Yesterday I was in contact with the help desk people from Adobe for literaly 2.5 hours. The main problem was LightRoom 6 crashes, and it was decided very soon that I needed Lightroom 6.14. I wasn't told why installing this had to take 2.5 hours. My computer (Mac) was taken over remotely for the whole time and there was no communication.
Today I notice that I cannot empty my Trash, because of the message "The operation can't be completed because the item AndroidFileTransfer.dmg is in use". Ten minutes ago, on my previous attempt, the message was: "The operation can't be completed because the item AcrobatUpdateHelperLib.dylib is in use".
Anoter strange thing is that in Finder I can see that my structure looks different. It used to have the items Mac HD, External HD, Recovery HD, and Network.
Now, since my Adobe intervention from last night, the items "Android File Transfer" and "Lightroom_6_LS11" have appeared. They look like external devices, as they have an "eject"-icon.
I am sorry if these are silly questions. I don't know anything about these things and have no one to ask it to. But I would like to know what these things mean, and how to get rid of them. Even though the help desk was working on my computer for 2.5 hours, there was no communication and I have no idea what was happening, and why.

The Lightroom_6_LS11 file sounds completely normal, used to reinstall Lightroom 6. If you installed it yourself from a download you'd see something similar. It may have taken a long time because they had to try lots of things, or you have a slow connection, or they were doing several things at once. Assuming this was the genuine Adobe support, that's OK, but I suggest you now reboot.

Thank you very much.
I restarted my Mac and the ejectable things seem to be removed from my Finder hierarchy.
Also I was able to empty my trash.
All well!
Happy that LightRoom is up and running again, I have been using it for over a year and I love it.
Thank you for helping and reassuring me.
