"No connection to Internet" after installing Acrobat Standard 2017

Hi,

I installed Acrobat standard 2017 on a Win7-PC by using a redemption code. The installation worked ok (I got a serial number, inserted it, finally it said "installation finished"). Also I opened an Adobe account.

When I tried to start the program for the first time, a window opened, which required the input of an Adobe ID. As soon as I click the "continue" button, a window opens which says "no internet connection or clock not set correctly". But I have internet connection and the system clock is correct.

How do I get around this? Thanks for help.

do you now have any adobe cc programs installed on your computer, (and check your hosts file to see if there's any adobe.com entry.)

Thank you meanwhile. I have to be out of office for a week and will try this later.

I did check the hosts file. No ADOBE entries. Ichecked the other steps (contact via browser to ADOBE server ok, contact to https-sites via browser ok). But if I try to start Acrobat2017 I get the message "Your computer is not connected to the internet or the clock setting is not correct" (see below). But the computer is connected to the internet and the clock setting is ok.
