A bit of context, I took a Creative Design class in Highschool back in 2012 and our teacher got us all copies of CS5.5 for class with a student license. Years later, the laptop I had it installed on finally bit the dust and I salvaged the HDD and put it inside my new laptop to be used as extra space since Windows got severely corrupted and wouldn't run on the old HDD. All the files are still installed and I can run Photoshop from the old HDD but it wants me to register it again. I put in the serial number I have for the Suite but it won't accept it. Any ideas or am I being slightly dumb?
All the other programs that came with the Suite run as well, but they don't ask for a product code (Bridge, Device Central, Media Decoder....). InDesign and Illustrator also need activation, but I mainly want to use Photoshop.
