It was nice not having to have a bunch of app icons permenently on my system bar, but since the menu has gone I guess I'll have to go back to that.
The new app is the opposite of useful in any way shape or form, and a huge step backwards. The organization is worse trying to drive all this "what do you want to do?" filtering over just launching apps I have installed and want to use. Almost worse than Clippy. Those are not words any developer should ever want to hear!
I don't need a bunch of feature adeverisements in my day to day work flow. Yes, I know what your apps do, great, thanks, how about letting me launch the version on my hardrive not forcing me to update? Oh, I can install old versions, but not launch the version I have... how... special?
If this window form must exist please just make it an entry in the old launch menu, and bring the launch menu back. I'm sorry if I'm coming off a bit combattive, but this is one of the most gobsmacked UX flubs I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot!
P.S. It appears Fuse doesn't even show up in the app, and yet the website Maximo part does, a bit... underwhelming.
