Reload CS6 ext onto new PC (have orig disc & don't use enough to justify subscription)

I am trying to reinstall PS CS6ext from the original disc onto a new PC with windows 11.
The Adobe website states the product code is invalid but I have communication from Adobe confirming registration (13 Feb 2013).
I don't use the program often enough to justify a monthly subscription and have a legitimate version of the PS CS6ext program that I'd like to keep using.
All of the auto reply responses seem to loop around the issue with no satisfactory solution.
Any suggestions to get the program installed would be appreciated

Hopefully before you tried to move to a new computer you were able to deactivate your old subscription as if you are out of licenses available, there is no way to deactivate the software anymore without access to the original computer.
Assuming this is the case, if the serial is invalid, you will need to confirm you are entering the correct number. Serial numbers were 24 digit alphanumeric codes. Is this what you are trying to enter? If no, then you may not have the right number. If you registered the software with Adobe this should also be available in your account: https://account.adobe.com .
If you do run into a situation where you no longer have the serial or the product cannot be activated, as you are using such an old version, there are a few options available to you. First, while the standalone PS subscription is $22.99/mo, the photoshop plan which also includes lightroom and 1TB of storage is $19.99/mo. There is also PS Elements ( https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements.html ) which may be enough for your needs and is not a subscription. Or there may be other alternatives that are within your budget that could solve your needs depending on which aspects of Photoshop you utilize most often.

if you saw an invalid serial number you either made an error when entering the number OR you have the wrong installer. details:
assuming you're using a valid adobe serial number (6 groups of 4 numbers), you have a mismatch between your installation file and serial number. ie, you can have a valid serial number, but if it's for program A and your installation file is for program B, you will see an invalid serial number message.
common mismatches are language/region (eg, serial number is for western europe and installation file is eastern europe), platform (eg, serial number is for a mac and installation file is win), license type (eg, education vs enterprise vs individual). and one of the most common is using a program installation file with a suite's serial number. eg, using a cs6 suite serial number with a photoshop cs6 installation file. that won't work even though photoshop is included in that suite.
you must use the (correct) suite's installation file (and you can choose to only install one program from the suite). here's official info about that error, http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-serial-number-valid-product.html

CS6 is discontinued & unsupported legacy ware from 2012. That's why support can't help you.
Assuming you purchased directly from Adobe, there should be a record of your serial number in your online account.

If you purchased from a 3rd party vendor, and the license is invalid, you'll have to take this matter up with them, as they sold you the license.
