install the cc desktop app from here https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop?action=install&source=apps&productId=creative-cloud and use it to install your adobe subscription and trial programs.

...both links that you gave give to install not the newest version of ACC - but then everything is unchanged. Updates do not work including ACC - ERROR CODE: 306
Need ideas

Maria, I am sorry, but Error 306 indicates the files being downloaded are being damaged. This is why the solution listed in https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-download-install-logs.html#error306 is to install the applications locally.
Have you been in contact with your local Internet Service Provider regarding these errors? You can use the information in https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/network-endpoints.html to help determine if any servers and ports are being actively blocked.
