Security Alert - Adobe Desktop Manager

Hello -

I'm receiving the security alert as shown in the screenshot below.

I used Spyxx.exe to figure out what process was showing this window.

Why is Adobe Desktop Service.exe trying to utilize a VMWare certificate?

This message is appearing on the host PC, not a VM (if that makes a difference).

Other than trusting VMWare as a CA, what can I do here to make this stop?

Did you ever figure out how to get this to stop? I wasn't previously an Adobe customer, just signed up for Creative Cloud Free and installed Bridge and now I'm getting the security alert popup about the VMware certificate being expired (mine shows valid during 2016-2017 time range. I do have VMWare workstation 12.x installed and am getting the popups on the host not the guest OS where Bridge was installed. Just started to look into this issue and yours was the only hit on my search with the same problem.
