New Here ,
Sep 15, 2018 Sep 15, 2018

Here's a bit of a summary of this absolutely brutal issue i'm having.

> Purchased brand new windows computer to run photoshop exclusively

> Pay for license

> Managed to get apps installed but constant crashes and "adobe creative cloud needed to resolve the problem, is missing or damaged. You can try to repair to fix the issue. If the problem persists, download and install the new copy from "http://www.adobe.com/go.adobecreativecloudapp".

> try everything in forum, un install, re install, adobe cleaner, delete oobe folder etc etc, have adobe remote in to take a look, they tell me issue is hardware.

> take computer back to store

> nothingwrongwithit.jpg

> do fresh install of windows with nothing else installed but photoshop and lightroom using direct download links

> same error

> search forums, lots of people with this problem, absolutely no answer that works

> what do I do adobe? can I get a refund?? can you fix this problem?

Just to reconfirm , did you checked for Video driver update from below link ?

Download Drivers | NVIDIA

Also , please check the BIOS version for Motherboard. and also Chipset.  Also as mentioned earlier run diagnostics in BIOS once to make sure there is no issues with the Hardware.

Also for test purpose , enable Hidden Administrator account and install Adobe Creative Cloud app and check for the behavior.

If you had already installed , remove and reinstall from Built-In Hidden Admin account.

Enable the (Hidden) Administrator Account on Windows 7, 8, or 10

Provide us more info like  the Computer Hardware Specs?

Laptop make and model ?

Operating system and the build version.?

( Open command prompt and type Winver  , it will show the build version of Windows ) .  If its Windows 10 , is the OS installed with Creators update?

Also , check whether the OS is installed with all the Cumulative and Security updates from the Settings menu.-> Update & Security.

Also make sure all the Drivers, Chipset , BIOS Firmware are up to date.

Hey mate,

Thanks for reply!

Microsoft Windows Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.285) Yes creators update is installed.

I have checked all drivers and I believe they are all up to date but i'm certainly willing to check again.

All windows updates are done

- AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six Core Processor
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
- Samsung SSD 860 EVO M.2 500GB
Drivers for the above have been checked and factory software says up to date and operating normally.

Let me know if anything else I can check?
