So my SSD drive is small and often gets down to under 5Gb of free space!
Today I have bought an M.2 drive (hopefully it will be recognised by my motherboard) which I want to put my current Adobe CC package on.
Do I simply unistall all Adobe programmes and then just download them again and re-install? I assume simply copying everything in the Adobe folder to the new drive would cause loading problems?
Wil I need a new activation code or will it recognise my CC package automatically?
Thanks in adance.
Paul.
uninstall every cc app including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
open the cc application, click file>preferences>apps>and change the install location (to a non-root folder on your new local hard drive).
install the programs you wanted to move.

Thank you. I will do that tonight once I put the M.2 in place.

you're welcome.
p.s. while @Peru Bob's recommendations are generally good, in this case, to not uninstall your cc desktop app/clean etc unless there's a problem with your currently installed cc app (especially if it recognizes your newly installed hard drive after installing it and restarting your computer).

Uninstall all Adobe and then download the CC desktop app and install from the app.

Is it because I said "Keep" preferences?

follow each applicable step (eg, my understanding is you can't uninstall any app because they're all uninstalled):
uninstall every cc app including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-mes...
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
check for, and if available, update your os
repair all ms visual c++ versions that can be repaired.
update your ms visual c++, if it can be updated
restart your computer (don't skip this)
redownload and reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop?action=install&source=apps&productId=creative-cloud
if you're unable to download the cc desktop app at this stage, use the link at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html
use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

Fantastic, all done, all now on my M.2 drive.
Next question - the re-install now shows the first image when I start PS, but I want it showing that - I want the screen centre not to show anything as I want to work my way to where I want to go. How do I set the preferences to just show the second start point.
Also, when I zoom out an image it shrinks to a smaller place and goes to the left rather than staying (snapping) central to the workspace. How can I set it to stay central please.
Thanks all in advance.
