SOLVED: CC installers freeze or stall

After signing up for Creative Cloud you feel good about yourself and download the first app. This will start installing the Adobe CC app, but it stalls.

In my case Adobe Lightroom stops at 10.1% and Photoshop at 5.8% etc.

Adobe gave us this article:

But nothing works.... Downloading the actual app, like Photoshop also fails.

I had Adobe Photoshop CC5, which could not run on Mac OS Catalina. It's uninstaller didn't work. Apparently the CC installer attempts to upgrade some components and it fails.

The cleaner gets rid of that problem.
