Some Quick Advice Please Re. Uninstalling Old Versions

Hi Guys

Can someone advise me please? I still have PPr/ Ae/ Au/Ps/Dr CC2017 versions on a Win10 machine and I want to uninstall that version. I have seen the instructions for the uninstall tool. It says uninstall first from the Windows Control Panel and then run the Adobe tool. Is that really the best way? I had it in mind I just ran the uninstall tool from when I uninstalled a while ago. I obviously want to ensure I leave nothing on the PC.

The uninstall tool is what is called by the Windows control panel.

1. Uninstall with the Windows program remover. 
2. Restart computer.
3. Run the Adobe CC Cleaner tool.
