Speicherplatz After Effects Fehlermeldung 133

New Here ,
Jan 25, 2024 Jan 25, 2024

Hello,

If you only have 8 GB RAM, your computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements for After Effects:

7even, thanks for your question. The 8 GB of memory is the RAM, not the computer's hard drive space. You can go to Finder and select Macintosh HD, or whatever you have named the drive, to find out more information about the space available on the computer. ^JW

Hallo Jeff,

p.s. make sure you're using the cc desktop app to install after effects (and all other cc trials and subscriptions).

Thanks, 7even. Please make sure the Creative Cloud Desktop is installing to Macintosh HD per the instructions in https://adobe.ly/42eYaQL and verify it is installing to the location that has enough disk space. For more information on Error 133, see https://adobe.ly/3HzjqHg.

The installation space error is typically very accurate, 7even, but if you have confirmed that it is installing to the correct spot, then verify that the installed security software is not blocking access or causing Finder to report insufficient disk space to the installer. ^JW

Danke für die Antwort. Kann ich mein 8GB RAM Speicher erweitern? Eventuell mit iCloud? Gibt es da eine Möglichkeit?

The processor is not powerful enough to run After Effects properly.

It's time to look for a new laptop if you want to use After Effects.

you need to upgrade your hardware.  ie, physically install more ram and that's unlikely with a macbook, and a definite no for a novice.
